         This book is a historical novel written by author Kalki krishnamurthi. This story is based on the life of king Raja Raja Chola who was entitled as the son of  the Ponni ie. river kaveri in Tamilnadu. This is the masterpiece of the author Kalki which includes all domains such as political intrigue, conspiracy, romance, betrayal, passion, sacrifice, pure love, unrequited love, seduction.

In simple words ,This is a novel that is worth reading and for sure that it will definitely enthrall the readers.
